Catholic Trips

Dear friends,

This is Jean Gallagher, a member of the Daughters of Isabella in Sedalia and who has been planning trips for groups for over 25 years.  In fact, I just returned a week ago from spending a full week touring the beautiful country of 20th country to visit!  I was so lucky to be able to go on a trip with only 5 others from across the United States who also plan trips for groups as I do.  We all are thinking of taking a group to Portugal and Fatima in the future.  Fatima was wonderful, colorful, ancient and so inspiring!

We also toured gorgeous cathedrals and monasteries that had been worshiped in for centuries and incredible museums filled with treasurers that were collected over countless years and now carefully exhibited.  Our beautiful hotel, guide and very luxurious small bus along with our busy schedule were so well planned.  And did I mention the delicious food, the friendly people and the great shopping!  Fun!

Anyway I’m sending this message to you regarding some trips we do as fund-raisers along with some we do for wonderful fellowship and inspiration.  We would love to have any of you come along!  We travel on comfortable motor coaches that have a restroom on board, a professional driver and always include your tip to the driver in the cost of the trip.  In addition, we pass out very detailed folders of information to everyone and go over it thoroughly when we start the trip!  Other nice amenities are also included and we feel that this will give you an idea of what to expect.  We include rest stops every couple of hours as well and include many yummy treats, prizes and surprises.  Men always come along on the trips, too!

I plan about 20-25 trips annually and accompany groups of veterans, artists, church groups, historical societies, many different organizations (some of whom use the trips as a fund raising opportunity) and just trips I think people would very much enjoy.

At any rate here are the Daughters of Isabella trips we would like to invite you on!  (Trips are open to all faiths, of course.  Here I’ve described those of special interest having to do with our Catholic faith and the D of I.)
